You have received a Notice of Settlement because you have been identified as being part of a group of people whose confidential medical information (“CMI”) is alleged to have been disclosed by Defendant Gilead Sciences, Inc. (“Gilead”) when Gilead mailed you an envelope with the words “HIV Prevention Team” on the face of the envelope in the return address between April 15 and April 30, 2020 (the “Mailer”).
A class action lawsuit was filed concerning the Mailer and a settlement has now been preliminarily approved by the Court. The Notice of Settlement provides information about the lawsuit, the Settlement, and your options as a Settlement Class Member.
